Strategically located in the Northwest “Golden Corner” of South Carolina, along the freshwater coast of the Carolinas, the weather is envied by southern neighbors and our northern friends.  We are only an hour away from Greenville, and about two hours from metro cities of Atlanta and Charlotte and their international airports.

Cultural activities, such as the symphony, chamber music, plays, etc. are within a short drive to performing arts theatres in Greenville, SC, Asheville and Brevard, NC.

Sunshine abounds, and the Carolina moon is spectacular during the Spring and Fall.  Tennis, golf, and other outdoor activities are seldom interrupted by even a frost delay in the so-called winter months.
